Facilities

Raven Holiday Home Park is a family run, modern holiday park situated on the beautiful South East coast. Located within walking distance of the stunning Curracloe beach which is best known for having featured in the Second World War themed motion picture ‘Saving Private Ryan’. Also within walking distance is The Raven Point Nature Reserve, a bright mature pine forest favoured by walkers for the 8.5 km loop that brings you back to the beautiful beach.    

Purpose Built Playground

Located within the mobile home park is a purpose built childrens playground; consisting of climbing frame, swings, slides and much more. A great area for children of all ages to have fun.  

 

Football/Green Area

A large green area is situated on the Mobile Home Park; a perfect area for children to play football.

Curracloe Beach

Curracloe Blue Flag Beach is only a few minutes walk from Raven Holiday Home Park. This long stretch of soft sandy beach is perfect for children and families.  The beach can be accessed at three points, the nearest which is only 5 minutes walk away is the Culletons gap.  Walkboards provide easy access to the beach for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The Raven Nature Reserve

Literally 5 minutes walk from the Holiday Park is the Raven Point Nature Reserve that offers a walk that is a real favourite with many Wexford people, running parallel to Curracloe beach and passing through a bright mature pine forest with pine needles cushioning your steps.  The main forest track is fine for strollers and kids will love running and jumping off the dunes and hiding in the fern covered forest.  Continue around the loop or come back by the beach, this is a great walk any time of year with plenty of shelter during the winter.

The Winning Post & Surfing Centre

Located on the main entrance of Curracloe beach is the Winning Post; a place where children and adults alike, can enjoy hours of fun playing the many various gaming machines; especially if the weather is not so good. On hot sunny days, ice creams, light snacks, teas and coffee can also be purchased.

An added facility for children is the Surfing Centre located next to the Winning Post which is open from Easter to September every year.  Lessons can be booked with the experienced fully trained instructor to learn surfing off the fabulous Curracloe Beach.

Hotel Curracloe

Is a family run establishment in the heart of Curracloe village  where you can unwind in the Tavern Bar or eat in the Blake Restaurant where the menu offers a wide variety of freshly produced, locally sourced meals and snacks.  It also offer a new refurbished ballroom, the Brent Suite that can cater for a variety of functions including weddings.
